On 6 August 2026, I attended a seminar in Frankfurt on developing the European market for electric vehicles from Xishan. The Xishan Electric Vehicle Foreign Trade Association hosted the event at The Westin Grand, with a Chinese delegation attending. For me, it was an opportunity to deepen direct contact with the manufacturing side of the industry.
That personal connection between China and Europe matters to me. A good vehicle is the starting point. For electric mobility to work here over the long term, service, spare parts and European market requirements need to fit together. That is the perspective from day-to-day business I bring to these meetings.
